美國總統當選人川普6日又在「推特」語出驚人，批評全新的「空軍一號」總統專機造價40多億美元，成本過高，認為國防部應取消與波音公司的訂單。
川普推文寫道：「波音正在為未來的總統打造全新的747空軍一號，但成本已失控，超過40億美元（約台幣1285億元）。取消訂單！」
川普後來在紐約面對記者時再次表示，新的空軍一號「貴得離譜」。他說：「這飛機已完全失控了…我認為波音在數字上動了手腳。我們希望波音賺大錢，但不該那麼多。」
《華盛頓郵報》反駁川普，全新空軍一號成本根本未確定。批評川普揚言取消波音訂單再次證明，他利用總統權勢介入或干預民間企業的計畫、決策、行動。
針對川普的說法，波音公司回應稱，正根據一筆1.7億美元的合約，決定這架精密軍用飛機的性能，以滿足美國總統的需求。
